Tall is short?

TALL Rabbit has been SHORT listed in the Illustration category of the Create Design Awards 2012! It is for a series of Splendid Fairy Wren illustrations that feature in the Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School's Bonifacion year book, beautifully designed by Bronwyn Rogers Design Studio. Yay! :)

Tall Rabbit goes shopping!

My recent trip to Melbourne coincided with the Markit@FedSquare, which I was delighted to discover! There were so many talented stallholders there from Melbourne and surrounding cities and the displays all looked so amazing! I had a great time meeting some fellow crafters and even did a bit of shopping too. Here is my loot:

(L - R) Washi tapes from Notemaker, brooch from Naomi Murrell, Blank Matryoshka set from Blank, Camera/Film studs from bRainbow, Bananaman brooch and bathing bear card from Hello Polly,
Card from Madeleine Stamer, Card from The Gently Unfurling Sneak, Gift Tags from Ask Alice and
little bunny and elephant ornaments from dot&eve

It's so interesting to see new work and great that so much of it is really original! All those wonderful creative people just keep coming up with new ideas!

Some of the lovely stallholders I met were:

Kirsty and Josh  - so little time

Anika (hidden) - The Gently Unfurling Sneak

Evi (left) & her very proud man - Bonnie Poplar

Torunn (off camera) - Herbert and Friends

Miss FOO in the middle of her very colourful display - Pleaty Bunny

I love going to new markets and this one was a doozy! I recommend it if you are in Melbourne next time it is on. Remember - every time you buy a handcrafted item, you are saving a creative type from having to go and work in the mines!

Tall Rabbit at Supanova!

Some Tall Rabbit customers at Supanova including zombies, Pikachu & Ash and Rilakkuma!
I had a great time at Supanova with lots of superbly costumed attendees. One zombie couldn't stop herself from tasting a Tall Rabbit item and Pikachu freaked out at the cuteness of it all! It was a fun weekend and I hope to do it again next year!
